SureColor-V1000 from Epson

This space-saving UV flatbed printer from Epson has been designed to produce high-quality images on a wide range of substrates.

Epson unveils an A4 UV flatbed printer, the SureColor-V1000. This compact, entry-level machine has been designed to meet the needs of small businesses in the promotional products sector, such as photo retailers, small product manufacturers, online printers and tourist attractions.

Based on Epson's SureColor technology and featuring a high-capacity 6-color ink pocket system (CMYK plus white and varnish), the SC-V1000 prints directly to "extremely precise and detailed images" on a wide range of substrates up to 70 mm thick, including acrylic, polycarbonate, PVC, aluminum, metal, polyester, foam board, styrene, wood and stone, says the manufacturer.

Extremely compact - only 699 mm x 699 mm, the printer fits easily on worktops and desks.

The SC-V1000 features automatic cleaning, air filtration and odor reduction.

It is possible to connect to the printing machine via a USB port and the wi-fi network.

Supplied with Epson Edge Print RIP software, the SC-V1000 will be available from July 2024.
