Fespa 2024: Ricoh unveils new large format and textile products

Japanese manufacturer Ricoh will be launching a new industrial film solution and a hybrid UV printer at the Fespa show, and will be presenting a number of solutions for the first time in Europe.

During Fespa, the international trade fair for screen, textile and large-format printing to be held in the Netherlands at the RAI Amsterdam from March 19 to 22, 2024, Ricoh plans to announce several significant new products.

Firstly, Fespa will mark the worldwide launch of a new industrial solution on film using Ricoh Pro DTF special ink and a new powder agitator technology. This new textile printing solution combines "the lowest total cost of ownership on the market and record speed" ricoh announces.

The Japanese manufacturer will also be presenting the hybrid version of its UV Pro TF6251 flatbed table. ricoh Pro TF6251 UV hybrid printer . This is the first compact hybrid printer based on digital technology from Chinese flatbed and large-format digital inkjet systems manufacturer Flora Digital, whose partnership Ricoh announced last December.
The Ricoh Pro TF6251 UV, to be unveiled at Fespa, is specially designed to use both rigid and flexible media, for signage and display professionals.

Several other technologies will be on show at Fespa for the first time in Europe.
Ricoh will be presenting dTG Ri 4000 printer for designers, decorators of classic or sportswear, and professionals wishing to expand their range of applications. This direct-to-textile printing system, which is compatible with polyester fabrics, features a new pre-treatment liquid and a new ink which, according to Ricoh, offer consistent, colorful industrial garment printing.

Visitors will also be able to discover the DTG Ri 1000 X . This printer produces high-quality prints on a wide range of garments. Thanks to its two new print modes, it offers better results at higher speeds, and benefits from a new media type setting, which allows image adjustment parameters to be defined in order to easily switch between printing on white and dark garments, says Ricoh.

There will also be demonstrations of the large-format reel-to-reel printing system Ricoh Pro L5160e Latex and the Ricoh Pro TF6251 UV flatbed printer with roll-to-roll option, both of which use Greenguard-certified, fast-drying inks.

Ricoh will present the RIP Productionserver from ColorGATE (a Ricoh-owned company), which enables all these solutions to be managed from a single workflow platform.

Visitors can also discover valvejet technology from Ricoh. This printing solution is designed for industrial paint and coatings markets requiring higher viscosity fluids, greater throw distances or larger droplets.
Valvejet will be presented via Ricoh's industrial tire printing solution, designed for a high-end personalization market.
