The 2024 edition of the Rencontres Techniques marks a new stage for UNFEA (Union Nationale des Fabricants d'Étiquettes Adhésives). After several years in a more traditional setting, the organization has opted for the prestigious Salon Hoche in Paris, a venue renowned for its modular spaces and elegant surroundings. This choice reflects UNFEA's determination to make its events more dynamic, by offering an environment conducive to technical and professional exchanges.
It was also an opportunity to welcome a new president, Sylvain Marchal, who succeeds Cyrille Roze after four years in office. Sylvain Marchal, manager of AG3M in Villeneuve-les-Maguelone, Hérault. Under his presidency, the UNFEA intends to pursue a number of strategic objectives, including expanding its membership network, promoting recycling initiatives, and supporting companies in key areas such as CSR and environmental certification.
On October 22, the gala evening will bring participants together in the venue's sumptuous salons. This convivial space will enable industry professionals to exchange ideas informally, while enjoying a refined setting. The emphasis will be on conviviality and sharing, in a spirit of cooperation between the various players in the self-adhesive label production and distribution chain.
October 23 will be devoted to a "Technical Day" featuring 12 workshops. These workshops will cover topics ranging from the latest technological innovations in label manufacturing to practical sessions on resource management and production process optimization. Each workshop will enable participants to familiarize themselves with emerging tools and technologies, while exchanging industry best practices.
The UNFEA Technical Meetings are also an opportunity for companies and suppliers to forge new partnerships. The sponsors' area, located in the 300 m² Salon Monceau, will be the ideal place to discover new solutions and technologies adapted to the needs of self-adhesive label manufacturers.
The challenges facing self-adhesive label manufacturers are numerous: regulatory pressure, growing ecological expectations, and the demand for ever more efficient technological innovations. The Rencontres Techniques de l'UNFEA 2024 will provide a forum for discussion and exchange to help industry players overcome these challenges. Workshops will focus in particular on the evolution of materials, product durability and low environmental impact production technologies.
