New Anapurna Agfa for large-format inkjet printing

Agfa expands its offering with the Anapurna Ciervo H2500, a 2.5-meter hybrid inkjet printer for signage and display applications, as well as POP and packaging. This model features productivity improvements and an advanced feed option for corrugated media.

With the Anapurna Ciervo H2500, Agfa completes its range of hybrid inkjet printers, expanding the possibilities for sign and display printers. This new 2.5-meter-wide model joins the range alongside the Anapurna Ciervo H3200 launched last year, offering a more compact alternative with optimized performance. Its launch is accompanied by an advanced feeder option for corrugated media, enhancing its versatility and efficiency.

A hybrid printer tailored to production requirements

The Anapurna Ciervo H2500 has been designed to meet the needs of print professionals looking for a solution capable of handling a wide variety of rigid and flexible substrates. It works with six-color plus white inks, combined with UV LED curing, to guarantee optimum print quality on substrates ranging from vinyl to corrugated board and coated textiles.

Its redesigned architecture boosts productivity with speeds of up to 59 m 2 /h in Production mode, a 70% improvement over its predecessor.

The integration of a continuous feed system enables the simultaneous printing of several panels, increasing output for mass production.

A response to the needs of packaging and POP printers

With the addition of optional infeed guides for corrugated substrates, the Ciervo H2500 and its H3200 counterpart are aimed directly at packaging and point-of-sale (POP) advertising professionals. This option guarantees smooth, precise substrate passage, a key factor in the production of high-quality printed cartons.

The possibility of adapting these guides to existing Ciervo printers means that printers already equipped can benefit from this improvement without having to renew their equipment.

Optimizing costs and reducing environmental impact

In a context where controlling operating costs is essential, the Ciervo H2500 embeds Agfa's Thin Ink Layer technology, reducing ink consumption while maintaining optimum density and colorimetric vibrance. What's more, the inks used are Greenguard Gold certified, guaranteeing minimal emissions of volatile organic compounds and reinforcing Agfa's commitment to eco-responsibility.

Safety and ergonomics for continuous operation

Agfa has designed this printer for prolonged use in intensive production environments, and a protective cover and several integrated safety features ensure operator safety, while facilitating maintenance and access to key components.

To be discovered at the Agfa showroom and at C!Print Lyon 2025

The Anapurna Ciervo H2500 is already installed in the showroom at Agfa's headquarters in Mortsel, Belgium, and will be on display at C!Print Lyon, February 4-6, 2025. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover this printer alongside the Jeti Bronco H3300S hybrid on stand 1F24.
