Present in Tunisia since 2009, the Verpack group is scaling up its operations in Sousse. Its workshop for the manual assembly and packaging of cases and boxes, initially installed on 2âeuros800Â m 2 now covers 5âeuros500Â m 2 .
The new site, a former building belonging to Japanese zipper manufacturer YKK, offers an infrastructure better suited to the company's growing business. The group specializing in folding cartons and cardboard boxes, which employs 500 people between France and Tunisia, is thus strengthening its production capacity.
A site close to doubling its workforce
In Sousse, 180 skilled workers from the local textile sector carry out manual assembly and trim work to premium market standards. With the expansion of the site, the workshop can now accommodate up to 400 employees. Since the beginning of 2025, the teams have benefited from a modernized environment, and the site, awarded the bronze label by EcoVadis, continues its commitment to more responsible production.
A logistics circuit organized between France and Tunisia
The materials, FSC-certified and processed in France, are shipped to Sousse within a few days. Once the products have been assembled, the site operates under customs control, guaranteeing a safe and rapid return to France. The loads, sealed on site, are delivered directly to customers without any intermediaries. With this investment, Verpack is consolidating its presence in Tunisia and asserting its model combining traditional know-how and industrial efficiency.
