At Fespa 2025, to be held in Berlin, Germany, in May, Agfa will present three new inkjet printing systems. These launches are part of a strategy of accelerated renewal of the inkjet range, initiated in 2024. Last year, Agfa already launched four models, and for 2025 four more machines are planned, three of which will be unveiled at FESPA, while a fourth launch is expected later this year.
Three new models expected in Berlin
In 2024, the Belgian manufacturer overhauled its portfolio of inkjet solutions for the sign and display and packaging markets, with the introduction of the Anapurna Ciervo H3200, the Jeti Bronco S, the Jeti Condor and the SpeedSet Orca industrial press.
At the same time, Agfa launched new automation functions on some existing platforms, including an automatic loader for the Jeti Tauro and robotized modules for the Onset Grizzly.
"In just over a year, we've almost completely renewed our inkjet printer range. Each new solution is the fruit of close collaboration with our customers and our in-depth understanding of their challenges and opportunities." says Arnaud Calleja, Vice-President of Agfa's Digital Printing Solutions division. "This spring, we'll be expanding our inkjet portfolio once again to help printers meet new challenges. "
At the forthcoming Fespa show, Agfa will be announcing three new models to strengthen this range, under the theme Powerful by Nature. The manufacturer has not yet released any technical specifications, but refers to the machines as "powerful" and "versatile in response to the evolving needs of print providers.
Solutions focused on flexibility and sustainability
In addition to the new equipment, Agfa will be showcasing applications designed to demonstrate the versatility and performance of its inkjet systems.
The manufacturer also intends to highlight its efforts in the area of sustainability, notably through the longevity of its equipment, its ability to be upgraded and its compliance with current safety standards.
"Our large-format printing solutions enable service providers to meet the growing demand for durable prints, while ensuring long-term reliability." says Arnaud Calleja.
And according to the recently published review of the year 2024 a fourth "major printing product" is expected this year.
