Agfa expands its hybrid range with the Anapurna Ciervo H2050

Positioned between the H2500 and H3200 models, Agfa's new Ciervo H2050 offers a web width of 2.05âeuros¯m and a configuration adapted to corrugated board.

Belgian manufacturer Agfa expands its Anapurna Ciervo large-format inkjet range with the arrival of the Ciervo H2050. This new 2.05-meter-wide hybrid UV led model is aimed at sign & display and POP professionals in search of an intermediate format, less bulky but versatile enough to handle a wide range of applications. It complements the Ciervo H2500 (2.50âeuros¯m) and Ciervo H3200 (3.20âeuros¯m) versions.

The Ciervo H2050, a compact all-rounder

Like these other two models, the Ciervo H2050 can be fitted with optional infeed guides designed for printing on corrugated board. This system improves stability and precision during transport of these substrates, enabling packaging and POP applications.

The Ciervo H2050, whose print speed has yet to be announced, is part of a generation of presses claimed to be more productive than their predecessors. According to Agfa, the Ciervo range achieves productivity gains of up to 70%.

The system is also based on Greenguald Gold-certified UV led inks, meeting the environmental requirements of printers targeting indoor communications or sensitive markets. According to Agfa, Thin Ink Layer technology significantly reduces ink consumption while maintaining a constant level of quality.

Complete integration into the production workflow

Like other Ciervo presses, the H2050 works with the Asanti workflow. This software solution enables advanced automation of job preparation, imposition management, and centralized monitoring of consumption via a web interface. The system can be interfaced with ERP or MIS systems to provide integrated management of costs, deadlines and machine utilization.

Agfa also offers tools adapted to packaging production, notably for managing multiple poses, complex formats or specific alignment marks.
