Agfa to unveil two new inkjet systems at Fespa 2025

Two major Agfa launches are expected at Fespa 2025: the Belgian manufacturer will unveil two new large-format inkjet systems, the Jeti Tauro H3300 XUHS and the Panthera FB3216 flatbed.

At the Fespa Global Print Expo 2025 in Berlin (May 6-9), Agfa will be presenting two new industrial inkjet systems under the slogan "Powerful by Nature": the Jeti Tauro H3300 XUHS and the Onset Panthera FB3216. Positioned in complementary segments, these presses focus on productivity, automation and media versatility. Agfa will also be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Anapurna range, and demonstrating the latest version of its Asanti RIP.

The H3300 XUHS, a step up in speed for the Jeti Tauro

The Jeti Tauro H3300 XUHS large-format press stands out for its high-speed positioning. Designed for 24/7 production workflows, this hybrid model can reach speeds of up to 1,280 m 2 /h, depending on configuration, making it one of the fastest UV LED systems on the market in this segment.

It retains the characteristics of the Tauro range âeuros screen quality, color stability, low ink consumption âeuros while integrating automated management of heavy media and multiple formats. This model is aimed at industrial printers specializing in POP, signage and outdoor advertising.

Onset Panthera FB3216, Agfa's new flatbed table

Agfa's other big news for Fespa 2025 will be the launch of the Panthera FB3216. Unlike hybrid models, this press is a true flatbed, dedicated to direct printing on rigid substrates.

The Panthera FB3216 in 3.2 x 1.6 m format is primarily intended for environments requiring speed and consistent quality on large runs, notably for POP and corrugated packaging. Equipped with LED lamps for polymerization, the Panthera optimizes energy consumption while maintaining a high level of gloss, thanks to fine management of the ink layer, says the Belgian manufacturer.

Its productivity is based on high-frequency heads and enhanced automation of plate transport.

Towards finer segmentation of the Anapurna range

Agfa will also be taking advantage of the show to expand its Anapurna range, with two new references: the H2500 and H2050, two compact UV led presses. The H2500 model offers a useful width of 2.5 m while the Anapurna H2050 is aimed at players looking for an entry-level solution without sacrificing versatility .

Both models share white ink technology, multi-layer printing and rigid/flexible compatibility. Their evolution now includes enhanced connectivity with production control systems (MIS/ERP) via Asanti.

Flow automation: Asanti 7 for energy management

Alongside the hardware news, Agfa will be highlighting the latest update to its proprietary RIP, Asanti 7. The software now includes a module for monitoring sustainability indicators, including carbon footprint calculations for print runs.

Native connection to Dataline's MultiPress environment enables full integration into ERP workflows. Added to this are intelligent nesting and dynamic preview functions, designed to limit media wastage. These functions meet the growing demand for energy optimization and material reduction tools.

And inks and substrates

In terms of consumables, Agfa will be exhibiting samples printed on media from its âeuros partners, including Holmen, Pongs, Beelite, Kohlschein and Brett Martin. The focus will be on media that are recyclable, biodegradable or made from natural fibers.

Agfa will also be showcasing its Synaps range, a polyester-based synthetic substrate renowned for its water and tear resistance, mainly used in high-end applications such as POP displays, technical documentation and outdoor signage.
