From flexo to inkjet: Gallus opens on-site technical training academy

Gallus announces the creation of a technical training program designed to support its customers in the transition to hybrid and inkjet technologies.

With digital and hybrid technologies on the rise in label printing, Gallus is keen to support its customers' skills development. At Labelexpo Europe 2025, the Heidelberg-owned Swiss manufacturer announced the launch of the Gallus Print Academy. The Gallus Print Academy is a vocational training scheme for the production and operation of inkjet and hybrid presses, which, unlike centralized training centers, is delivered directly on the customer's premises.

The aim is to accelerate the adoption of new technologies while limiting downtime. The manufacturer relies on practical support, focused on the machines in place and the specific problems of each site.

The Gallus Print Academy is aimed primarily at converters wishing to migrate from traditional flexographic printing to digital processes, or to optimize the operation of their existing equipment.

"The Gallus Print Academy is intended as a value-added support tool accessible to all Gallus customers. It covers all printing technologies and aims to help everyone exploit the full potential of next-generation printing."

And at Labelexpo Europe 2025, Gallus also presented two new presses: gallus Five and Gallus Alpha .
