Belgian printer Roularta Printing wins another major contract in the UK

The Financial Times has entrusted Roularta Printing with the printing of its high-end supplements for the UK.

Roularta Printing adds a new dimension to its collaboration with the Financial Times . The Belgian printer, based in Roeselare, which has been printing several of the British daily's magazines for the EMEA region since 2023, is now responsible for editions destined for the UK market, including How to Spend It and the FT Weekend Magazine .

This transfer marks a significant increase in workload for the printing plant of the listed Roularta Media Group. According to figures published by the group, which has sales of 320 million euros, weekly volume has more than tripled, with over 250,000 copies shipped to the UK every week.

Janet White, Global Print Director at Financial Times, emphasizes "high quality standards and the reliability of the logistics set up with Roularta. For the printer, this extended partnership confirms the Roeselare site's ability to meet the stringent production and distribution requirements of the British business daily.

With this extension to the UK market, Roularta strengthens its position in high value-added magazine printing. "This milestone marks Roularta's ability to 'cross the Channel' every week while meeting the Financial Times' particularly demanding production and delivery deadlines."
