VPK Group Makes New Acquisition in the UK Corrugated Packaging Sector

With this new acquisition, VPK Group has reached annual revenue of over 17 million euros.

VPK Group is expanding with the addition of a new company. The Belgian manufacturer of recycled paper, corrugated cardboard, and packaging?which operates 70 plants across 21 countries and employs 7,000 people?89,000 people, has acquired Fencor Packaging Group, owner of Manor Packaging. VPK Group had already held a minority stake (28%) in the British corrugated cardboard packaging group since 2024.

Based in Cambridgeshire, Fencor Packaging Group, which projects revenue of £14.8 million (?17.1 million) for 2025, operates a production facility complemented by warehousing and logistics operations. This location enables the company to serve customers throughout the United Kingdom, primarily in the retail, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and e-commerce sectors.

Manor Packaging will continue to operate as an independent entity. This acquisition builds on existing partnerships. Manor Packaging works in particular with Corrboard UK, a British manufacturer of corrugated board, in which VPK holds a majority stake.

Martin Taylor, Managing Director of VPK UK & Ireland, describes Manor Packaging as "an agile and well-equipped organization, known for its high level of service and strong customer relationships." In his view, the British manufacturer has what it takes to continue growing within the group.

The move coincides with David Orr's departure. After 26 years with the company, the CEO of Fencor Packaging Group is retiring and will be replaced by Tony Clifton, who previously served as sales director.
