Four companies have joined forces under a single banner to gain greater influence in the printing and packaging market. The British company Woodberry Packaging has become the PXP Group following several acquisitions in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Officially launched on October 6, 2026, at the CPHI pharmaceutical trade show in Milan, the group now has 650 employees and generates revenue of more than 120 million euros.
As its CEO, Peter Santo makes no secret of his ambitions: to expand PXP Group in the United Kingdom and across Europe, with the goal of capturing 10% of the pharmaceutical printing and packaging market.
Four packaging manufacturers that have been working together since 2021
The group?s formation began in 2021 with the acquisition of Colorman, an Irish company specializing in printing and packaging, by the Irish investment fund Woodberry Capital. In 2024, Reelvision Print, based in England, joined the group. Reelvision Print brings expertise in flexographic printing on cardboard for folding cartons.
Working once again with Woodberry Capital, PXP Group accelerated its acquisition pace in July 2026 with the purchase of two additional British companies: Medica Packaging, which specializes in packaging for the pharmaceutical and medical industries, and Curtis Packaging, which primarily serves the cosmetics and personal care markets.
Through these four companies, the group serves four markets and offers a variety of printing and cardboard converting technologies.
Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Packaging at the Heart of Our Ambitions
PXP Group plans to continue its expansion in Europe. In particular, the group is leveraging the complementary strengths of its companies to broaden its offerings to pharmaceutical companies and healthcare manufacturers.
Peter Santo, CEO of PXP Group, explains: "Life expectancy is increasing, and there is a growing focus on well-being. As a result, the pharmaceutical and cosmetics markets are experiencing rapid growth. That is why we want to build a company that prioritizes quality and service. We are building a dynamic, agile, and flexible business, recognized as the ideal partner for printing and packaging, to set ourselves apart from the competition."
Peter Santo also hopes to pool the expertise and industrial resources of the various sites and centralize customer requests.
In addition to its growth plans, PXP Group plans to launch an apprenticeship program that will allow young recruits to explore various careers in printing and packaging within its companies.
