The CEO is already looking for new premises in order to quickly restart production, which is currently being carried out by the group's other second-in-command.

The Chauveau printing works, located near Chartres in the Coudrayen Eure-et-Loir, was ravaged by a fire on the evening of Thursday 9 January. The fire is believed to have started on the company's premises. The building was completely destroyed, but fortunately no casualties were reported. The production of the 43-employee printing works is transferred to the other site of the JLB Services Group, Setig, located in Angers in the Maine-et-Loire.

Around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, the three employees inside the Chauveau printing plant noticed a fire starting in an electrical cabinet. After trying to extinguish the fire with fire extinguishers, they alerted the firefighters, according to the regional newspaper The Republican Echo . The origin of the fire would be accidental.

Jean-Luc Bonnet, the CEO, says in a message on the website of the printing house: "Estimating, DTP, finishing and routing, which are located in another building, were not impacted by this disaster and continue to operate. Emails have not been interrupted and we have received all requests and orders sent by this means. The switchboard also works (via redirection)."

"For a few weeks, we will be printing at our sister company, Setig, located in Angers. We will take care of the follow-up of the files, the processing and the deliveries ourselves" he adds.

"We are already visiting new premises that we hope to have by the end of January and receiving machine vendors to order them. We hope to have the whole unit operational between March 15th and mid-April."
