Mondi collaborates with a French design school (10)

The winners will see their creations exhibited at the international Drupa 2020 exhibition.

Students from the Higher School of Design in Troyes in the Aube region are participating in a design competition launched by the South African paper manufacturer Mondi. As part of their final year studies in Bac+3 Designer visual communication, the students have to create high-end marketing gifts, such as notebooks or bags, using Pergraphica premium paper. The winning designs will be presented at the international trade fair Drupa 2020 in Düsseldorf, Germany, from 16 to 26 June 2020.

Pergraphica papers, manufactured at the Mondi mill in Neusiedler, Austria, are premium uncoated papers designed for creative printing and packaging applications.

Participants who discovered the topic on January 17 have until the end of March to submit their final projects. They must be innovative and express their creativity.

And the teachers at the French design school particularly appreciate this collaboration with an international group like Mondi.
"This allows our students to work with international companies and design products as part of their studies," he said says Karima Bidar, teacher at the École Supérieure de Design de Troyes and graphic designer. The presentation of the winning projects at Drupa, the world's largest exhibition of printing equipment, is a great opportunity for them to showcase their skills and creativity to a wide audience."
