Valadié Emballages et PLV adds digital printing to its machine park. Specializing in the printing and conversion of single and double-flute corrugated cardboard for POS and packaging, the company located in Gensac-la Pallue near Cognac in the Charente region of France, has a turnover of around 6 million euros. Until now it has been equipped with screen, offset and flexo printing machines.
The Charente company has just installed a printer wide format Agfa Jeti Tauro H 3300, with automatic loading and unloading. It is a "a major investment to give the carton its fair value." she says. The Agfa Jeti Tauro H 3300 is a UV hybrid inkjet printer with a width of 3.3 metres. It produces very high-speed prints of up to 453 m (1,500 ft) per hour 2 /h.
