For the Jouve Group, February 1st will mark an important stage in its history, which began in 1903. Thibault Lanxade, its director, will sell the printing plant located in Mayenne to the Dupliprint group headed by Frédéric Fabi. This sale, a moment "solemn" and "historical" for the two leaders, was announced last November (read The Jouve Group separates from its printing activity ).
Equipped with offset and digital technology, the Jouve printing works has 172 employees and a turnover of 20 million Euros, half of which is generated by literary, legal and professional publishing. The Jouve Group employs around 2000 people, and makes 125 million euros in printing and digital.
As for Dupliprint, founded by Frédéric Fabi in 1993, the printing plant located in Domont in Val-d'Oise employs around a hundred people and has a turnover of around 17 million euros in digital printing.
This disposal is "a historic opportunity for the printing business based in Mayenne, which thus sees solid prospects for sustainability, through numerous synergies, effective from the outset" The two leaders have issued a joint statement.
