Antalis offers a recyclable creative paper made from textile waste

Antalis has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement for this paper with Italy's Favini.

The Antalis paper and packaging distribution group will distribute a new creative paper. Called Refit, it is a high-end recyclable paper made from textile industry waste.

Launched in November 2019, this Refit range has been developed and is produced by Favini the Italian papermaker specialising in luxury graphic solutions made from natural fibres.?;

The special feature of high-quality Refit papers is that they are produced from wool and cotton textile fibres that are considered too short and are usually destined for landfill. These by-products of the carding, spinning and weaving industry give the paper a special visual and tactile appearance.

It consists of 15% wool or cotton fibres, 40% FSC-certified post-consumer recycled cellulose and 45% FSC-certified virgin cellulose fibres. And Refit remains recyclable.

Two references make up the range of Refit papers in grammage from 120 to 360 g/m² 2 The Refit Wool and the Refit Cotton.
Available in black or blue, Refit Wool is produced with white wool fibres that give it a rough touch. Refit Cotton paper, in white, pearly or grey, is produced with cotton scraps which gives a soft surface to the touch.
