The small French company Club Groupe is to join the giant Antalis, a subsidiary of the Japanese KPP Group Holdings, one of the world's leading distributors of paper, packaging and visual communications. Based in Boulogne-Billancourt, Antalis, which employs more than 4,300 people, announces that a firm agreement has been signed to acquire the three companies founded and run by Laurent Pigot and Frédéric Dupaix, active in the French visual communications market, notably in the supply of large-format digital printing machinery and consumables: Club Groupe and its two entities Digital Printing France and Technical Digital Printing (TDP), which operates under the name Diatrace.
For Club Groupe, which has around thirty employees and sales of around 14 million euros, "Joining Antalis is a major opportunity" for its teams, customers and partners. "By combining our experience in the field with the power of the Antalis network, we'll be able to offer even more innovative solutions tailored to the needs of a fast-changing market." declare Laurent Pigot and Frédéric Dupaix.
For Antalis, this transaction, which remains subject to the completion of the usual regulatory procedures, will consolidate its position in the French visual communications market, a few months after the integration of Poitoo Adhésifs.
Hervé Poncin, CEO of the Antalis Group, states: "Their recognized expertise in the sale of printing solutions, combined with their proximity to customers, will contribute fully to strengthening our local roots and enriching our service offering in France. This operation is in line with our strategy of targeted growth, at the service of our customers."
