Agreement on partial activity in the printing industry

To enable companies affected by a drop in activity, but whose survival is not threatened, to implement the new temporary arrangement for long-term partial activity.

To respond to the decline in activity of companies in the graphics sector during this period of health and economic crisis and to maintain employment over the long term, a branch agreement has been signed between the various trade union organizations.

This agreement enables companies affected by a drop in activity, but whose survival is not threatened, to implement the new temporary arrangement for long-term partial activity. The scheme will be open until December 31, 2022 for companies applying the collective agreement for the commercial printing, graphics and screen printing industries.

"?La The industry's stated aim is to preserve jobs and therefore to give priority to this partial activity to enable companies to overcome this crise?", explains the GMI.

The agreement was signed on Monday 16 November by the federations GMI, FESPA, UNIIC, and the trade union centres of employees (FO, CGT, CGC and CFDT).

Maximum 40% reduction in working time over the implementation period

The system that may apply to all categories of employees (permanent, fixed-term and work-study contracts) concerns a maximum reduction of 40% in working hours over the implementation period.

A system of "?roulement équitable?" between employees of the same workshop, production unit, services, etc. must be set up.

In addition, the agreement provides for the implementation of tools and financial resources enabling employees to access training instead of short-time working, for example.
