Bobst and SEI Laser announce the creation of an entity dedicated to laser cutting for the label and packaging sectors.
With this new activity, the Swiss manufacturer of printing and converting equipment for the packaging and label industry and the Italian company specialising in laser finishing systems want to design and market complete digital cutting solutions for the label, flexible packaging, folding carton and corrugated board industries.
"The synergies created between the two companies will allow the development of new solutions and approaches to meet the needs of customers" says Bobst in a press release. "The main objective of the partnership will be the digitalisation of manufacturing processes, the introduction of innovative systems using laser technology and software platforms and tailor-made services in a market that will develop in the coming years" adds SEI Laser.
No other information on this collaboration is given, Bobst indicating that it is waiting for this partnership to be effective.
