French packaging group Adine acquired by an Italian manufacturer

The Adine group, based in Mayet in the Sarthe region of France and in Nantes, brings together Adine, the Chiffoleau printing works, and Thermoform.

The Italian packaging manufacturer Pusterla 1880 acquired the French group Adine, also specialising in packaging.

The Adine group, based in Mayet in the Sarthe region of France and in Nantes, brings together Adine (production of boxes, cases, cases), the Chiffoleau printing works (offset and digital printing, finishing), and Thermoform (production of thermoformed products and wedges to optimise packaging).

Based in Varese, Lombardy, Pusterla 1880 (his date of birth) specializes in the packaging of luxury goods. The company is a major European player in the manufacture of secondary packaging for the perfume, cosmetics and spirits industry. It has production sites in Italy, Romania and France.

The group has belonged to the Meana family since 1922 and at the beginning of the year opened its capital to a fund managed by the French company Andera Partners for a minority development capital operation.

With the acquisition of the Adine group, Pusterla 1880 pursues its ambition for growth:

Headed by Pascal Baroux, the Adine Group has 130 employees and a turnover of 15 million euros. The company created in 1806 by Mrs Adine was originally specialized in filing articles and hat boxes. Today it has prestigious clients such as Gucci and Hermès.
