JPA Emballage invests in a new production line for cardboard

The company, located in the Haute-Saône region of France, sees cardboard as a good growth opportunity.

The company JPA Emballage, located in Noidans les Vesoul in the department of Haute-Saône, has invested in a new high speed production line (18,000 boxes per hour) for the production of cardboard, reveals the Est Républicain in an article published on March 24.

The company specializes in packaging on several materials such as corrugated cardboard, cellular PPE, wood, foam or polystyrene, wants to increase its productivity to meet the increased demand in the package and corrugated cardboard and be more competitive, says the leader David Branget to the newspaper. "Corrugated has a bright future as companies ban plastic from their packaging, he explains to the daily newspaper. In corrugated board, JPA Emballage works on a set of qualities going from microflute to triple flute.

A grant from the European Regional Development Fund

L'Est Républicain reports that JPA Emballages has been able to benefit from a 184 000 euros subsidy via the European regional development funds to finance this investment of a total amount of 2 million euros.

The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) operates in France in several areas: investment in research, technological development and innovation; improving the competitiveness of SMEs; developing information and communication technologies; and the transition to a low-carbon economy. For the 2014-2020 period, ERDF represents ?8.4 billion of investment in France.
