Gallus is launching new label presses, the Diamond Core Series. The line includes four Gallus Labelfire UV and hybrid inkjet models.
"With the Gallus Labelfire Diamond Core Series, we offer a range that is suitable for all types of printers, regardless of their level of experience and the scope of their needs." says Thomas Schweizer, Head of Business Management at Gallus.
The Diamond Core, the heart of these Labelfire's, is the digital UV inkjet print unit featuring Fujifilm's Samba print heads with a native resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. This printing unit is available in 4 and 7 color versions and is equipped with a series of optional print heads for digital white.
The Labelfire Diamond Core Series achieves high production speeds of up to 70 m/min. Named D1 through D4, the four configurations of the Labelfire Diamond Core Series cover all demands of the label market, according to its manufacturer.
Gallus Labelfire D1 and Gallus Labelfire D2 UV inkjet presses
The D1 and D2 models are the "workhorses" of this series. These UV inkjet presses print on an industrial scale directly from roll to roll. With or without digital blanking, they are suitable for all printers who do not require inline finishing.
The Labelfire D1 is an entry-level 4-color machine system for short-run product label production.
The 7-color version of the Labelfire D2 - CMYK green, orange and violet - is ideal for all jobs requiring special colors, such as cosmetics, personal care products and more generally jobs where color matching is essential. With its seven colors, the Gallus D2 press reproduces 94% of the Pantone Plus gamut.
Gallus Labelfire D3 and D4 hybrid presses
The Labelfire D3, a CMYK UV inkjet press, and the Labelfire D4, a 7-color press (CMYK green, orange and violet), are equipped with a flexo unit and a die-cutting unit for one-pass printing - from file to die-cut label.
A laminating/coating module or a cold film unit can be added.
