HP offers a third model in the Stitch range, the Stitch S1000. This 3.2 meter wide printer, the widest of this series of dye sublimation machines, is intended for flexible signage and interior decoration and "stands out for its versatility, ability to produce quality work and ease of use" according to the manufacturer.
"The new version of the HP Stitch S1000 Printer will provide print professionals with a broader offering of dye sublimation inks, enabling them to complete ambitious and innovative jobs." says Oscar Vidal, HP's director of large format strategy.
The HP Stitch S1000 prints directly onto fabric and transfer paper, thanks to 1200 dpi native print heads with integrated dye sublimation. It is equipped with an aerosol and vapour extraction system as well as a spectrophotometer which ensures the homogeneity of the colors at the scale of the machine.
The HP Stitch S1000 printer is designed to start very quickly, and reaches printing speeds of 220 m 2 /hour. Its productivity can be doubled with the double roll accessory which allows to manage two supports of up to 1.6 m each simultaneously.

With 10-liter ink tanks and rolls of up to 300 kg, printers will be able to produce continuously and unattended. They can even supervise printing remotely via the HP PrintOS application.
A single operator can load the transfer and textile rollers, which takes 40% less time than on competitive models. "This feat is made possible by features such as automatic media tension adjustment, automatic printhead cleaning and a device preheating process, concomitant with loading."
The HP Stitch S1000 printer uses Eco Passport certified dye sublimation inks, a standard that certifies the harmlessness of chemical elements used in the textile and leather industry.
The large-format press is also compatible with the printhead recycling program, HP Planet Partners. And the HP S1000 ink cartridge, made of cardboard, can be recycled locally.
