Winner of an award at the Digital Label Forum, Etigraph is showcasing a wine label produced in 100% digital workflow, combining Konica Minolta printing and MGI finishing. This combination illustrates the growing integration of digital finishing technologies in high value-added production.

For the past twenty-five years, adhesive label printer Etigraph, based in Aix-les-Bains in Savoie, has been developing a sensory and creative approach to its production, underpinned by its signature "L'Atelier des sens". This approach led to the award of the 2026 Digital Label Trophy for a wine label produced for the Bastide de Blacailloux estate.

This top-of-the-range label was produced entirely in digital workflow, from printing to finishing. Printing is carried out on a Konica Minolta AccurioLabel 230 toner press, and finishing by MGI's JetVarnish 3D Web solution.

An award that celebrates digital innovation

The effects obtained, particularly in terms of gloss and texture, rival the rendering of traditional finishing standards, while retaining the characteristics of digital, particularly in terms of responsiveness.

Etigraph integrates all stages, from graphic design to finishing. This organization facilitates the implementation of complete digital workflows, which require file preparation and anticipation of finishing effects right from the design stage.

The award was presented to Geoffroy Ivanes, Etigraph's Technical Director, and Loïc Vestidello, Etigraph's Continuous Improvement Manager, at the Forum de l'Étiquette numérique, organized with MP Medias and the École Estienne. This award reflects the evolution of label workshops towards production lines where digital finishing, notably via solutions such as those from MGI, plays an increasingly important role in the construction of the final product.
