With the help of a 160,000 euro grant from France Relance, AVS Communication (Dijon) is back on track with the acquisition of a Zünd digital cutter and intends to roll out its large format signage and printing offer nationwide.

The machine that changes everything

The grey page of 2020 and last February seems to be definitively turned for AVS Communication. At that time, Arthur Deballon, director of the company, had to let go of 7 employees following the strong economic slowdown caused by the health crisis. Today, the arrival of this new Zünd cutting machine, ultra versatile and very fast, triggers much lower production times compared to the more artisanal techniques used in the company at the time.

As a result, AVS Communication is now able to handle up to six times the order volume. « We are going to enter the market of the large format printers, of digital cutting. Clearly, we are aiming for larger markets in terms of volume, both nationally and internationally, much larger than today where we are from Dijon, and where we are limited by a production capacity that was low. "says Arthur Deballon.

From partial activity to labour shortage

« We are looking for people to work in the workshop, to drive the machine and to install it. In short, this represents 5 people "The Dijon-based entrepreneur is delighted. In addition to a change in the organization of the activity by arranging the working time in 2 x 8, the installation of this new machine has generated a record increase in profit: about 3 million euros of turnover are expected this year.
