Know-how / Verpack's cardboard advent calendars for The Box

Offset printing, varnishing, die-cutting, pre-cutting and pre-gluing for delivery of the flat packs, were carried out on the same site in France.

Verpack continues its collaboration with The Box and presents a collection of 3 all-cardboard advent calendars for the holiday season. Last year, the brand had already entrusted the packaging group with an eco-design work, including cardboard wedges and a simplified design for products that are easy to assemble and pack.

This year, the brand is renewing its book-shaped clandestine box. In addition, a rectangular box called "eurosChristmas in New Yorkeuros" has been added, with an image on each side representing the city in an American movie atmosphere. The illustrations are signed by the artist Joya Laforme.

Offset decorations and protected with a glossy varnish

The Verpack group has designed for this creation an inner wedge and cut-outs to accommodate the 24 surprises on each of the 4 sides. The decorations are worked in offset and protected with a glossy varnish. On the top, a double cover with tabs reinforces the structure. Finally, a notch has been made for a ribbon to hang the calendar, explains the manufacturer.

Verpack adds that, in a global logic of reduction of the carbon impact, the group treated all the operations on the same site in France: offset printing, varnishing, cutting, pre-cutting and pre-gluing for a delivery of the boxes flat.

A major player capable of responding to all cardboard applications, Verpack is a French manufacturer specializing in the design and production of boxes, assembled cases, tubes and canisters. For Christmas, the group produces boxes and cases, promotional offers and other advent calendars, the majority of which call for an often advanced eco-design approach.
