Belgium-based papermaker Sappi expands its range of face papers with Parade Label SG.
Produced at its Gratkorn site in Austria, Parade Label SG is a semi-gloss coated label paper approved for direct food contact and complies with DIN EN 71 for toy safety.
Available in 77, 78 and 80 g/m 2 this paper is intended for a wide range of applications such as food, beverage, and health and beauty labels, logistics and variable information printing due to its thermal printability.
"The fiber-based face material ensures high-quality printing and finishing results throughout the production and converting chain. It features high rigidity and resilience, so the label will not be damaged and will fit accurately even after labeling." assures its manufacturer.
Parade Label SG is suitable for flexo, gravure, offset, letterpress, HP Indigo, thermal transfer and UV inkjet printing. Laminating, embossing and hot and cold foil stamping are also compatible with this new substrate.
