The Schellenberg Group expects to benefit from synergies and expand its product range with these three new companies.

The Swiss Schellenberg Group announces that it has acquired three printing companies Horisberger Regensdorf, Freytag and Druckerei Geyer located in Regensdorf, Switzerland.

The owner of these three companies, who employs a dozen people, Rolf Schärer, decided to take this step because "joining forces with a strong partner to develop the business offers significantly better long-term prospects than going it alone" says the group's press release.

Through this transaction, Schellenberg and Rolf Schärer's companies should benefit from synergies, strengthen their market position, gain access to new technologies and expand their product range.

The Schellenberg Group comprises some 20 companies specializing in offset, large-format and security printing as well as digital communication services at 10 locations in Switzerland. With more than 260 employees, the Schellenberg Group is one of the largest employers in the Swiss printing industry.

"The Regensdorf site will be maintained, the company names will remain the same" adds the group.
