New white kraftliner for high-end corrugated packaging from Stora Enso

This kraftliner produced in Finland is particularly strong according to Stora Enso.

Finnish paper maker Stora Enso is launching AvantForte WhiteTop, a premium white kraftliner. Based on 100% virgin fiber, the bleached paper is aimed at high-end corrugated packaging segments such as fresh food, e-commerce and ready-to-use.

AvantForte WhiteTop kraftliner features three layers of fiber. Called Tri-Ply, this patent-pending Stora Enso "maximizes its resistance" and reduces the need for material.

"Accelerating the shift away from plastic to renewable packaging in the fresh food and e-commerce sectors is increasing demand for high-performance krafliners." says Oscar Duarte, director of the paper company's Kraftliners business segment. "Our AvantForte WhiteTop product has exceptional visual appeal and print qualities to help brands enhance the consumer packaging experience."

This Avantforte WhiteTop expands Stora Enso's offering, which also includes AvantForte Brown. Both premium kraftliner are the result of the recent conversion of one of the production lines at the Oulu plant in Finland .
