Label Weeks Kurz: Leonhard Kurz launches his exhibition

Until October 28, 2022, the specialist for thin films, presents numerous novelties at the Label Weeks Kurz, aeuros Fürth in Germany, at the sieeurosge of the group.

Following the cancellation of Labelexpo aeuros Brussels just a few weeks before its opening, Leonhard Kurz is organizing its own event, Label Weeks Kurz. Until October 28, 2022, the manufacturer of gilding and functional films invites all printing and finishing professionals to the aeuros Fürth Group's headquarters in Germany.

Kurz will be presenting its many new hot stamping, cold stamping and digital embellishment products in a live demonstration area of over 400 m 2 . Innovations in security labels and thermal transfer ribbons will also be presented.

During this unique event, visitors will be able to discover, among others, the latest beautification units of its subsidiaries, DM-Uniliner 2D of Mprint and DM-Uniliner 3D from Steinemann DPE. These digital foil stamping units, which allow pre- and post-print finishing, can be used independently of existing printing processes.

In the field of hot stamping kurz presents the NanoEmbossing from its subsidiary Hinderer + Mühlich (H+M). This solution enables manufacturers to emboss patterns, gradients and even photographic effects on labels, folding boxes, book covers and greeting cards.

Visitors will also be able to appreciate the quality of ecofin hot euro marking which has a thickness of only 10 ?m instead of the usual 12 ?m, as well as the kPS Slim cold transfer films , which are patent pending, that require only 6 ?m of thickness.

euros not to miss also, Distorun, a material saving module cold transfer aeuros . Distorun allows to apply the unused areas of the already treated transfer rolls. This module is easily connected to existing presses.

Visitors will learn more about the brand new security label developed by the Kurz subsidiary Scribos. This label combines the Trustseal Protect film technology, which is particularly resistant to counterfeiting and falsification, with ValiGate and the QR code from Scribos.

During the Kurz Label Weeks, a space is reserved for thermal Transfer Ribbons Division (TTR). On display will be the TTR Unique UV and TTR Unique Verospec. With these solutions, manufacturers can equip labels and other TTR prints with security features by embedding information directly into the ribbon. Even the thinnest strips of a barcode have security features in this way.
