Packitoo is a young company based in Pau that does not lack ambitions. Founded in 2017 by Corinne Loustalet and Thomas Othax, this marketplace dedicated to the development, purchase and sale of personalized packaging has already connected more than 3,500 brands with 350 renowned packaging suppliers.
Since 2019, the company has offered HIPE, a software program, developed in-house, that allows for custom packaging configuration. "Taking a custom packaging order in a customer appointment or via its website becomes possible with HIPE" explains Guillaume Poineau, Packitoo's marketing director.
HIPE is currently deployed at a dozen cardboard packaging converters, including a major international manufacturer.
Goal: 100 manufacturers by 2025
"Our latest HIPE software for the packaging industry is a response to a very strong problem for them. But we are working mainly with French manufacturers at the moment and we would like to be able to deploy our solution more quickly and more widely in Europe", explains Thomas Othax, co-founder and CEO of Packitoo.
In line with this strategy, Packitoo has just joined the 6th edition of the Gazelle Accelerator Program, the European access program for startups deploying solutions for Industry 4.0. Like 17 other European startups since the beginning of the year, Packitoo will benefit from mentoring, coaching and connections with major industrial companies and investment funds in order to accelerate its commercial development on a European scale.
"We are targeting 100 industrialists by 2025, in France and in Europe, says Thomas Othax, and possibly North America, also a critical market for our growth."
In addition to this geographical development, Packitoo continues to invest heavily in R&D in order to enrich HIPE with eco-design modules and to integrate it with partner software.
