Label production : Durst Tau now part of Cerm MIS

Presented at Labelexpo 2025, this new product from Durst and Cerm promises real-time monitoring of production data and improved continuity between workshop and management.

Durst Group and Cerm announce a new step in label shop automation: the Italian digital press manufacturer and the Belgian management solutions provider launch a connector between Durst Analytics and Cerm MIS.

In concrete terms, Durst's Tau range of digital presses can now transmit their production data directly to the Cerm management interface. This interconnection should reduce manual re-entries and improve the reliability of information circulating between the workshop and management departments.

"For years, our sector has been expressing strong expectations in terms of complete integration between production data and management tools." says Serge Clauss, Product Manager, Software and Solutions at Durst. He adds that this connection between Durst Analytics and Cerm will give printers greater control over their operations.

Cerm's Director of International Business Development, Steffen Haaga, assures us that the aim of this new product is to provide label and packaging printers with "a fully integrated ecosystem in which all relevant production and management data are connected". "Thanks to the integration with Durst Analytics, our customers now have, for the first time, the ability to connect their Durst Tau label presses to our MIS âeuros in real time â?" an essential step in increasing productivity and making data-driven decisions."

Durst and Cerm will officially present this connector at LabelExpo 2025, which takes place from September 16 to 19 in Barcelona, Spain, on the Durst Group stand 3E79 and the Cerm stand 3G43.
