Hybrid Software is launching ColorAnt 12, CoPrA 12, and ZePrA 14?three new versions that cover the key stages of color management, from measurement data to automated conversion.
"When measurement, profiling, and automation advance simultaneously and the product line is streamlined at the same time, the result is a comprehensive offering for our resellers," says Victor Asseiceiro, general manager of Color at Hybrid Software.
ColorAnt 12, which measures, corrects, and optimizes data prior to profiling, now allows users to customize evaluation methods. In particular, users can adjust the Delta E limits and the methods used in reports based on their own production criteria.
CoPrA 12, a tool that creates ICC profiles for various devices and printing processes, now supports the creation of multicolor profiles.
For DeviceLink profiles, the new Paper White/OBA Match mode adjusts the optical brightener compensation when there is a significant difference in paper white between the source and target media.
The new Highlights Clipping feature also allows you to adjust tonal values in the highlights, particularly to meet the needs of flexographic printing.
ZePrA 14, a color server that optimizes PDF files and images using DeviceLink profiles, now features a redesigned PDF flattening engine. According to ColorLogic, it handles complex operations more efficiently and reduces errors during file flattening.
At the same time, ColorLogic is revamping its product lineup. The three software products are now organized into two product lines: Process and Multicolor. ColorAnt also offers a standalone evaluation version, and CoPrA offers a Standard version for creating ICC print profiles.
Finally, all three software programs share a new licensing system. ColorLogic now offers both subscription and perpetual licensing, with a common key management system.
