Roland DG launches new compact metal engraving machine

The VersaStudio MPX-90S engraving machine is designed for small businesses to customize all kinds of metal objects.

The Japanese manufacturer Roland DG launches a new generation of metal engraving machine, the VersaStudio MPX-90S. The VersaStudio MPX-90S, "easier to use and more affordable" according to its manufacturer, can engrave letters, logos and even photos on the surface of metallic materials.

Compact like all VersaStudio products (286 mm × 383 mm × 308 mm), this equipment is designed for small businesses. With a printing area of 80 mm x 80 mm, the VersaStudio MPX-90S engraves metals with a Vickers hardness (HV) of up to 200, such as brass, stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, copper, iron, gold, silver and platinum.

Roland DG recommends this VersaStudio MPX-90S for personalizing gifts and accessories such as key chains, jewelry, medals, trophies, card holders, watches and pens.

VersaStudio, the Japanese manufacturer's compact equipment line, also includes the VersaStudio BT-12 direct-to-textile printer released in 2019, the VersaStudio BN-20A cutter printer launched in 2021 and the versaStudio GS2-24 plotter launched in January 2023 .
