A launch with great fanfare. To draw a parallel between the precision, speed and innovation of its machines and F1 racing, Roland DG presented two new products at a major event held at the iconic Autodromo Nazionale Monza circuit in Italy, in collaboration with BWT Alpine Formula One Team. The Japanese manufacturer presented the TrueVIS XP-640 printer and the TY-300, a solution for the textile sector.
The fastest TrueVIS XP-640 printer to date
The TrueVIS XP-640 is the flagship machine in the new Roland DG range. With print speeds of up to 15 m²/h, an extended color gamut thanks to red, orange and green inks, and features such as automatic media spacing adjustment and a 7" touch screen, the TrueVIS XP-640 is set to meet the high-volume needs of print shops. It also offers industry-leading low running costs, ensuring maximum profitability.
The DTF TY-300, 45% faster than other machines
In addition to the TrueVIS XP-640, the manufacturer presented the TY-300 direct-to-plate (DTF) printer for personalizing garments and textiles from 182 to 762 mm wide. It is said to offer brilliant color reproduction in exceptional CMYK + white printing at 10.9 m2/h, i.e. 45% faster than other DTF printers on the market, and can even reach 17.48 m2/h in high-speed mode, says Roland. Its inks are certified ecological and its maintenance system is automated.
