Riccobono creates its healthcare branch
The Riccobono group, based in Baillargues in the Hérault region of France, is continuing the industrial diversification it announced a few months ago, with the creation of Riccobono Healthcare, a new business dedicated to the production of medical devices, notably for adult incontinence.
This line is installed at the Raillencourt-Sainte-Olle site in the Nord department of France, presented as a state-of-the-art industrial facility. It draws on the Group's long-standing expertise in continuous production and cellulose processing.
To mark its 125th anniversary, the group historically dedicated to newspaper printing which has 2,500 employees and sales of around 250 million euros, unveiled its three complementary divisions: last-mile logistics (via Proximy), heat-sealable paper packaging and the medical sector.
Bonnier Books UK entrusts its monochrome printing to CPI
Since 2026, all black & white titles from Bonnier Books UK have been printed by CPI Books UK, at sites in Chatham, Croydon and Melksham.
A subsidiary of the French CPI group, CPI Books, which operates seven sites, was chosen after a call for tenders that brought to an end the collaboration with Clays. The choice of the European printer is part of a logic of continuity, says the publisher, since CPi is already a partner of Bonnier in continental Europe. The publishing group emphasizes the ability of CPI (which has 13 plants in seven countries, with an annual capacity of 700 million copies) to support its ambitions in terms of industrial rationalization and sustainability.

Domino launches new laser coder for beverage production
Domino Printing Sciences launches the Dx1060i, a 100Â W CO2 laser coder designed to meet the production constraints of high-speed bottling lines. Capable of marking up to 90,000 bottles per hour, the Dx1060i handles complex codes without loss of legibility, even on difficult substrates.
The system offers over 50 beam distribution options and a 360° rotating scanner head, for easy integration into existing lines.
The Dx1060i is compatible with Domino Cloud services, R-Series vision modules and SafeGuard support.
This laser coder is designed for manufacturers subject to stringent traceability requirements, in particular those of 21 CFR Part 11.
GMI relaunches national paper promotion campaign
The Groupement des métiers de l'impression et de la communication (GMI) announces the return of its campaign to promote paper, the 2? edition of which will be unveiled on January 28, 2026 in Paris. After a first edition in 2024 marked by 17 million impressions and 6.7 million people reached, this year the graphics industry is banking on a more sensory and emotional approach. Five visuals will illustrate the place of paper in everyday life, with a central message: "Paper, there's only good things about it."
