FlashTide innovation: personalized navigation rules with PrintFlux

FlashTide's B2C and B2B platforms are changing the face of boating equipment, making customization of sailing rules accessible at no extra cost. A revolution for boaters and the brand's 2,000 dealers.

FlashTide, a recognized player in the nautical world, has marked a significant turning point in the marine industry by launching, in record time of less than two months, two distinct platforms: FlashTide.fr a B2C version for yachtsmen and a B2B version with FlashTide.pro available only to the brand's 2,000 dealers.

This technological feat was made possible by the integration of PrintFlux web-to-print software, revolutionizing the production of personalized navigation rules. These tools, which are essential for navigation and maritime training, particularly for offshore boating licenses, are now available in a personalized version at no extra cost to the customer, eliminating all technical costs by automating all stages of sales, production... right through to invoicing.

Innovation and Breton know-how at the heart of the strategy

In addition to its innovative approach to customization, FlashTide relies on local production and proven Breton know-how since 1991 to offer top-quality Cras rulers and Breton protractors. Manufactured in high-quality crystal PVC with a patented design that enhances the overlap between the two protractors, these instruments have become a benchmark for training boats and professional sailors alike. FlashTide's commitment to quality, durability and responsiveness is demonstrated by the choice of local manufacturing over internationalization. This strategy not only strengthens FlashTide's position in the navigation instruments market, but also contributes to enhancing France's maritime industrial heritage.

Towards personalized, precise navigation

The automation of the production process via PrintFlux, enabling individual customization of a century-old product, opens up new prospects for the marine equipment manufacturer by expanding its range. Three new protractor rulers have just been added to the catalog, and 2 more are in preparation.
