Fespa 2023 : Berger Textiles presents its new technical textiles

These two new textiles for visual communication are intended to address noise and odor problems while respecting interior aesthetics.

At the Fespa trade show in Munich, Germany, May 23-26, German supplier of textiles for large-format digital printing, interior design and apparel, Berger Textiles, will launch its new range of functional textiles. Aimed at interior architectural applications, the range, called Architecture, will include two products, Shift and Absorber.

Shift is a printable textile designed to absorb and neutralize odors such as kitchen, pet or cigarette smells.
This 250 g/m² polyester fabric 2 can be used in display frame systems, banners and interior signs (e.g. in corporate and hospitality environments), and is compatible with direct printing and dye sublimation.

Berger Textiles will also present at Fespa the series Absorb is made up of two materials developed to improve acoustics in a variety of environments ranging from corporate offices to recreational areas.
"Both materials are suitable for a wide range of architectural applications where an effective, yet visually sympathetic, noise absorption solution is required." he says.
Absorber 009 is a needle felt made from 100% rPET fibers derived from recycled plastic bottles. This fabric is used in aluminum frames or plastic profiles. Absorber 050 is used in frames and integrated structures.

Visitors will also be able to discover new apparel fabrics, Single Jerseys, available with or without pretreatment for pigment printing and Oeko-Tex and GOTS certified, and two new flexible signage materials, Moon, a 330 g/m² opaque grey-backed polyester textile 2 and Icon, a 100% cotton canvas printed by sublimation.
