By signing a binding offer to acquire the Polish group Integart, Antalis intends to expand its presence in the Eastern European market.

Just weeks after announcing the acquisition of Gosuma, a Spanish company specializing in the distribution of industrial packaging solutions, French distributor Antalis says it has signed another acquisition agreement, that of its Polish colleague Integart.

Founded in 1994, Integart is a Poland-based distributor of visual communication products with offices in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. With a turnover of EUR 42 million and over 200 employees, the group offers large format printing materials, textiles, interior design solutions and machinery for various sectors such as media, interior design and construction.

The acquisition of the Integart group will allow the French company, which employs 3,800 people worldwide, to diversify its offer. Hervé Poncin, CEO of Antalis, said: "The acquisition of the Integart Group will strengthen our position in the Eastern European market and improve the execution of our growth plan in the visual communication market."

Based in the Paris region, Antalis, a subsidiary of the Japanese group KPP Group Holdings listed on the Tokyo stock exchange, is present in Europe and Latin America. It even presents itself as the number two in the distribution of visual communication media.
