Imprimerie Galard, Criaud Étiquettes Adhésives, Polykote, and Tilwel are changing their names. Brodart Packaging is renaming its ten production sites and consolidating them under two brands: Brodart Étiquette and Brodart Flexible. With locations in Aube, Bas-Rhin, Loire-Atlantique, Hérault, Seine-et-Marne, Seine-Maritime, Vienne, and Yonne, the manufacturer of labels and flexible packaging is thus ending the coexistence of the names inherited from its various acquisitions since its founding 110 years ago.
The facilities dedicated to label production are now known as Brodart Étiquette Arcis-sur-Aube (formerly Imprimerie de la Halle), Brodart Étiquette Illkirch-Graffenstaden (formerly Brodart-Illkirch), Brodart Étiquette Rezé (formerly Criaud Étiquettes Adhésives), and Brodart Étiquette Vallet (formerly Imprimerie Galard).
The group's flexible packaging facilities are Brodart Flexible Arcis-sur-Aube (formerly Brodart), Brodart Flexible Béziers (formerly Breger Sud), Brodart Flexible Brie-Comte-Robert (formerly Tilwel), Brodart Flexible Gournay-en-Bray (formerly Polykote), Brodart Flexible Maillot (formerly Breger Centre), and Brodart Flexible Iteuil (formerly Richard Laleu, the group's most recent acquisition, made in 2024) .
For Sébastien Brodart, CEO of Brodart Packaging and a fifth-generation leader of the group, this consolidation marks a new phase following several years of external growth.
"Together toward a stronger group brand. This project is a natural step in our history. We have built our group by bringing together the best expertise in the industry. Today, we are giving them a common name so we can go even further together." , says Sébastien Brodart.
On LinkedIn, the printer humorously recounts that the issue of renaming the sites had come up regularly in conversations with his father, the group's chairman, since 2017.
