International Paper renames three of its French mills

Following the change of visual identity presented a few months ago, American company International Paper is pursuing its policy of standardization across France

In March, American paper and board packaging manufacturer International Paper presented its 125th anniversary edition of the new visual identity and announced " the opening of a new chapter" of its history. In France, three of the company's sites have just been renamed to continue the policy of standardizing the group's image.

For Chalonnais, Emballage Laurent SAS becomes International Paper Chalon SAS. Founded in 1937, the company joined the American group in 1991, and covers the wine and champagne, e-commerce and logistics, health and beauty, and food sectors.

Papeteries d'Espaly in Haute-Loire, founded in 1860, is now called International Paper Espaly SAS. Also integrated into the Group in 1991, this site supplies the fruit and vegetable, beverage, dairy, meat and paper sectors.

Finally, Société Normande de Carton Ondulé SAS, based at Saint-Langis-Lès-Mortagne in the Orne region, has been renamed International Paper Mortagne SAS. Founded in 1949, the company joined the Group in 1970. It operates in the dairy, meat, pharmaceuticals and fruit and vegetable sectors.

In France, International Paper has two other mills in Saint-Amand and Cabourg, in the Manche and Calvados departments respectively. They have already been renamed: International Paper followed by the name of the commune.

These five French corrugated packaging plants employ around 750 people.
