Tiger600-1800TS: Mimaki launches its most productive dye-sublimation printer

Mimaki's new Tiger600-1800TS textile printer, with a 185 cm web width, reaches a print speed of 550m2/hr.

Mimaki launches its most productive sublimation transfer printer, the Tiger600-1800TS. This textile inkjet machine is designed to compete with analog textile printing, announces the Japanese supplier of inkjet printers, cutting plotters and 3D printers.

Thanks to its eight new print heads, the 185 cm wide Tiger600-1800TS four-colour printer achieves print speeds of up to 550 m 2 /h. This makes it 43% faster than its predecessor (the Tiger-1800B MkIII).

"The advantages of digital printing are manifold compared to laborious, complex and unsustainable analog production methods, says Arjen Evertse, General Sales Manager of Mimaki Europe, in a press release. Digital printing offers a seamless, cost-effective solution for producing smaller quantities that can be adjusted as demand changes. It also offers greater design flexibility and reduces environmental impact by enabling local production, minimizing inventory and therefore waste, while completely eliminating wastewater resulting from the analog process."

Another of the brand's strengths is its low-maintenance, roll-fed design, which eliminates the need to apply adhesives to a belt.
What's more, the printer's ink tanks can be replaced without interrupting printing, and its inks, the MLSb510 series, are Eco Passport certified by Oeko-Tex, which guarantees their harmlessness to people and the environment during the production process.
