Mimaki expands its portfolio of dye-sublimation printers with the introduction of the TS200-1600, a 1.60 m wide inkjet machine designed for small structures and short production runs.
Based on the TS330, this new entry-level model now features an eight-color mode, allowing printing in orange, violet for gamut extension, as well as fluorescent pink and fluorescent yellow, for applications where visibility is a decisive criterion, such as sportswear or textile signage.
The TS200-1600 uses two-liter Sb411 inks, certified Oeko-Tex Eco Passport. This compliance enables service providers to meet the specifications imposed by many textile brands, which now include environmental criteria in their invitations to tender.
The printer comes with RasterLink7, Mimaki's in-house RIP, and is compatible with PICT, the cloud-based monitoring tool developed by the manufacturer. These solutions are designed to facilitate color registration, flow management and remote monitoring of machine parameters.
Arjen Evertse, Sales Director at Mimaki Europe, assures: "The TS200-1600 offers professional quality and vibrant colors to customers entering the sublimation market, while providing a user-friendly, cost-effective solution for short-run, proofing and custom applications. Thanks to its eco-friendly inks and Mimaki's flagship technologies, it also promotes a more sustainable production process."
