New Satab paper ribbons made in France

The new range of Satab ribbons makes it possible to offer packaging made entirely of paper.

French manufacturer Satab is expanding Respect Line, its collection of ribbons made from biodegradable materials sourced from short supply chains. At Luxe Pack, to be held in Monaco in October, the manufacturer, which integrates all production stages at its Haute-Loire site, will unveil new products made entirely from paper.

For Satab, the paper ribbon meets the expectations of the packaging market for more environmentally-friendly packaging, such as single-material packs that facilitate recycling.

The new range includes cords, tubular braids, tricotines and chevrons woven from paper yarn. They can be used, for example, as shopping bag handles, fastening cords for food packaging sheets, clothing label cords or decorative ribbons.

This new offering is aimed at a wide range of packaging sectors, including fashion, jewelry, cosmetics, food, wines and spirits, perfumery and decoration.

The Respect Line collection already includes linen ribbons certified Masters of Linen, which guarantees the traceability of linen grown in Europe, as well as FSC Tencel ribbons created from wood pulp.
