Robopac offers paper banding from Mondi

Robopac offers two models of Mondi's Advantage StretchWrap banding paper.

Mondi Group continues to expand the compatibility of its banding paper, Advantage StretchWrap launched in 2021. After italian machine manufacturer ACMI and the Austrian EW Technology, the papermaker worked with Robopac to develop a pallet-wrapping machine using this 100% kraft paper.

Robopac's semi-automatic and fully-automatic machines can now use Mondi's Advantage StretchWrap, which is puncture-resistant, highly elastic and low in grammage. Advantage StretchWrap replaces the plastic films commonly used for pallet wrapping.

The semi-automatic machine can handle 40 pallets per hour. The fully automated version packs up to 60 pallets per hour.

Robopac's main challenge was to adapt packaging operations to paper, while ensuring maximum product stabilization during transport with minimum use of resources. "Thanks to our own Cube technology, we achieve maximum load stabilization and are very satisfied with the performance efficiency of our machines in conjunction with Mondi's Advantage StretchWrap." says Filiberto Felici, Robopac Product Manager.
