Although the show attracted slightly fewer visitors than the previous edition, more than 9 out of 10 exhibitors have already signed up for Labelexpo 2025.

It's time to take stock of the world's biggest event dedicated to labels. Labelexpo Europe 2023, which closed on September 14, welcomed 637 exhibitors over the four days of the event at Brussels Expo, Belgium.

Spread over nine halls and covering 36,588 m² of floor space, they presented over 250 product launches, mainly dedicated to flexible packaging, digitization and automation.

Manufacturers, who announced numerous sales during the event, seem particularly satisfied: 96% of them have already booked their place at Labelexpo Europe 2025, which will take place in Spain for the first time since its creation in 1980. This compares with just 83% in 2019.

On the visitor front, the show welcomed 35,889 visitors from 138 countries, some 6% fewer than in 2019. Germany, France and Italy were particularly well represented.

Jade Grace, General Manager of Labelexpo Global Series, says in a statement: "This has been the most challenging show to date, but also the most rewarding. We look forward to the next chapter in 2025, when we will bring Labelexpo Europe to its new home at the Fira de Barcelona, with many plans to stimulate growth and collaboration in the industry."
