SAi launches Flexi Complete, its new large-format signage software

Flexi Complete, the new version of SAi's sign design software, features improvements in display, usability and new functionalities.

SA International, American supplier of software for sign making, digital and textile printing and CNC machining, launches Flexi Complete, the new version of its Flexi software. Flexi Complete, which enables the design, printing and cutting of signs, signage, adhesives and large-format displays, includes over 30 new features.

Firstly, the update brings two new nesting options to Production Manager. Users can view job images while on the move, and update layouts by simply checking a box. Features such as manual overlap, zoom options and vertical alignment tools have also been added, whatever the signage or wide-format printing application.

Secondly, finishing tools are now integrated into the design flow, rather than being options to be applied in the Production Manager. This change should make it easier to add grommets, fold lines and bleeds.

The new version also features a custom weft line tool. Simply draw a line on any vector object. "This new tool has been designed with time-saving in mind so that operators can efficiently automate processes while guaranteeing impeccable results." says the publisher.

Another new feature of Flexi Complete is a new layout. Files open in tabs, making it easy to switch from one to another, and new motifs (wood effect, hammered gilding, etc.), accessible in one click from the design area, have been added.

What's more, the background color of the working document can be modified, a useful option when working with white lettering, for example, or when a graphic on a white background has not been trimmed.

And with Flexi Complete, it's easy to distinguish half-flesh from full-flesh lines, thanks to the ability to change the color of the full-flesh lines.

Last but not least, PDF export has been improved, with the addition of various options, including color space.
