Following the announcement of the production capacity and the appointment of a new Managing Director in January, Koenig & Bauer Durst continues to make changes with a view to strengthening its position in printing machines for packaging. The joint venture between Germany's Koenig & Bauer and Durst, created in 2019, now has a sales director, in the person of Benjamin Bösch.
As head of sales for the manufacturer of digital sheet-fed presses for folding carton and corrugated board, Benjamin Bösch will work with existing customers and sales teams, and develop new sales strategies in the carton markets.
Initially trained at Stuttgart Media University, Benjamin Bösch began his professional life in project management before moving into sales positions 14 years ago. With over 25 years' experience in the printing and packaging industry, he joins Koenig & Bauer Durst from Landa, where he was Regional Manager for DACH.
Daniel Velema, Managing Director of Koenig & Bauer Durst, emphasizes: "This appointment is an important strategic development, as we continue to leverage the capabilities and expertise of our parent companies to offer an unrivalled range of digital printing machines using food-grade water-based inks that comply with all regulatory requirements."
The Koenig & Bauer Durst range includes the CorruJET and Delta SPC 130 systems for the corrugated markets, and the jointly developed VariJET 106 press for the folding carton markets.
