The Icona d'Or awards are an essential showcase for the visual communications industry. At this 15th edition, the awards showcased a wide range of projects, from digital printing to signage. The event is also a barometer of technical and aesthetic developments in the sector.

Ecodesign Award: Brasserie Les Semblables

Brasserie Les Semblables, a microbrewery based in Alsace, has distinguished itself through its eco-responsible approach with CASH-CASH beer. This creation, launched at the Monetary Alternatives Festival on April 6, 2024, combines innovation and eco-design. The bottle, screen-printed in erasable water-based ink with a gold leaf effect, allows the glass to be reused. This ecological approach also includes an in-house screen-printing process, guaranteeing careful, long-lasting personalization of the bottles, while meeting visual and technical quality requirements.

Brasserie Les Semblables: Bleu Dalcans

Located in La Défense, the Landscape building has undergone a major visual transformation. Initially marked by an austere atmosphere, its reception area has been revitalized by the integration of LED screens projecting images of lush vegetation. This digital device transforms the environment into an urban jungle, fusing nature and technology to offer an immersive experience. The screens, installed at strategic points, enrich the visitor experience while reinforcing Landscape's unique identity. The project, which used LED panels and metal plinths, reinvented the space with dynamism and modernity.

A tactile Braille signage project has been developed for Air Corsica's aircraft, to ensure the safety of visually impaired passengers. The device was designed to comply with fire/smoke standards, essential in the aviation sector, while ensuring optimum legibility thanks to a Braille dot height greater than the thickness of the material.

Event Achievement Award: COMWEST

To coincide with the Rugby World Cup 2023, Société des Trains Expositions launched the "WE LOVE 2023 TOUR" project, a four-month train tour of France to immerse visitors in the world of rugby. This ambitious project, requiring two and a half weeks of production and two weeks of installation, stood out for its technical complexity and precision.
Color matching on different substrates, adaptation of the visuals, and the installation of the exterior covering, carried out in very hot conditions, represented major challenges. In all, five cars (127.5 meters) were covered with more than 250 linear meters of polymer film and 50 square meters of microperforated film.
The interior design included immersive exhibits, PVC panels, volume lettering and LED lighting, ensuring a unique experience. The project was carried out in close collaboration with the Carte Blanche agency, guaranteeing a project worthy of the event.
